Mangalore: Urging the MESCOM to fulfill various demands the Panjimogaru unit of DYFI staged a protest in front of the MESCOM office in Pandeshwar today.
Addressing the protestors, the corporator and district secretary of DYFI Dayanand Shetty said “MESCOM area in Kavoor faces many problems. The area consists of eight wards, despite which there is just one center working for the benefit of the customers, while many posts remain vacant. The people of the eight wards are affected badly because of this issue. Since the centre caters to a large number of customers, the only phone number available is always busy leaving the customers without an outlet to voice their concerns.”
